2018 NCC Tennis League Draws to Hold in Abuja Friday

first_imgThe 2018 NCC Tennis League is set to kickoff with the draws ceremony taking place at the Abuja National Stadium Tennis Centre at 4 pm this afternoon.A statement from the International Tennis Academy, organisers of the league, said the draws will be done “FIFA style” with the 12 teams ranked according to the combined points of their top five players – three men and two women – from the current NCC Rankings“We are excited that the teams are attracting a lot of corporate support with a leading insurance firm and a State Governor among the team sponsors for this year. Four new teams have also entered the race for the big prize.” The statement said. Last year’s winners got seven million naira while the runner-up team took home five million.
